The important thing is always to learn. It doesn't matter what you're reading, what you're doing, as long as you're learning. Life is made up of stories, so always make sure to take stock of everything around you, and anything interesting that happens. It may someday make for a good story. But if it doesn't, it was still a learning experience. So go out, learn, live, and make a story worth telling.
It’s barely the beginning of December, but everybody’s already full-swing into the holiday spirit. And for once, I don’t really mind. I’m all Christmas-y this year. Maybe because this year’s going to be a lot better than last year.
Anyway, what got me onto this topic was the fact that Ceiva has this great Got a Wish Sweeepstakes going on right now. They do the neatest thing, too. You upload a picture of yourself, and it shows up in the picture frame in the video. So you really do get to sit on Santa’s lap. How much awesome is that?
You know, with Christmas fast approaching, I can’t help but think of what I’d really like to have. There wasn’t enough in the space to put “washer and dryer,” so I ended up putting “camera” instead, because I really do want a digital camera.
I was looking at those video picture frames, too. They look pretty cool. I’ve wanted one for years. ^_^ Maybe I should buy one for my mom one of these years. First I have to teach her how to use a computer, though. But I’m pretty sure she’d think it was neat. I’d just have to cross my fingers in hope that she didn’t find some way to break it. If she’s anything like her daughter, she’d find a way.
